The journal contains articles that, on the basis of archival documents and published materials, cover various aspects of national and world history from ancient times to the present day. In particular, it examines issues of socio-political, socio-economic and cultural development, source studies and historiography , ethnology , as well as reviews, notes on scientificdevelopments etc .

The publication is indexed in Index Copernicus International and Google Scholar.

The journal publishes two issues per year.
