IDEOLOGEME OF «BROTHERSNATIONS» IN THE PERIODOF

PUBLICITY: INVOLVEMENT OF SCIENTIFIC- EDUCATIONAL

WORKERS TO MYTH-CREATIVITY

Abstract. The article attempts to analyze the influence of propaganda methods of struggle in the information plane, which hindered the intensification of nationalist tendencies. It is shown that with the help of scientific intelligentsia, during the period of «perestroika» the myth of «brothers peoples» was later reincarnated into the thesis of «Russian measure».

A significant role in the formation of worldviews, political culture, customs - Christian religion is substantiated. After all, in the most difficult stages of historical progress, often only religion was a unifying national factor. It is proved that Ukraine, not Russia, was the heir to Kievan Rus and had a more ancient history, and therefore had the right to build its own civilization. The thorny path that the Ukrainian people had to go through in their struggle for their own history is illustrated by a small example of the celebration of the 1000th anniversary of the baptism of Russia.It was found that all spheres of public life were involved in the preservation of the repressive apparatus. And despite the fact that new, previously unknown pages of history were being opened, the scientific and educational intelligentsia were instructed, in the silent mode, to «bend» the party's ideology.

Christianity deservedly played the role of the driving force in the history of the ancient Eastern Slavs. This is well understood by the ideologues of the Soviet Union. Moreover, in Ukraine it promoted the establishment of European norms of democracy and individualism, while in Russia the church came under the oppressive rule of the autocrat. The diminishing role of Christianity by Soviet ideologues is quite understandable, since Kievan Rus was only a Ukrainian state, which in turn threatened the antagonistic sentiment between Ukrainians and Russians and centrifugal tendencies.

It has been researched that, in general, religion in the Soviet period was presented as a manifestation of imperialism in the struggle against socialist progress. Particular danger was seen in the symbiosis of religion and nationalism. Therefore, celebrating the 1000th anniversary of the introduction of Christianity in Russia was regarded as an order of the West and the imperialist bourgeoisie. It is, apparently, propaganda that did not correspond to the historical truth but was aimed at destroying the Soviet Union.
