LUHANSK REGION IN THE WHIRLPOOL OF THE REVOLUTION OF DIGNITY
The events of the Revolution of Dignity became an important stage in the history of independent Ukraine, as they showed the readiness of Ukrainians to defend their own freedom, choice and civil rights. The article examines the course of the events of the Revolution of Dignity in the Luhansk region.
The work examines the scale and forms of protest activity in the cities of the Luhansk region, the life of protesters and the attitude of local authorities towards them.
The research was conducted on the basis of the processing of collections of printed materials, visual sources and oral testimonies of eyewitnesses. The results of the study contribute to understanding the regional features of the Revolution of Dignity, overcoming stereotypes and understanding the role of the Luhansk region in the all-Ukrainian protest movement.
